Executive Self Defense, is a unique unarmed combat training programme suited to the Nigerian environment. It is a programme that has arisen out of the necessity of self protection and security in an era of unprecedented violence. Be it domestic or external. Incorporating a combination of martial arts strikes, kicks, blocks throws, mental techniques and weapons counters from various martial arts disciplines such as Aikido, Kempo, Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Wing Chun.
Founder of Nigerian Taekwondo
Grandmaster Pius Ilukhor, a World Taekwondo Hall of Fame Recipient, Seoul, Korea 2011, is a 7th Dan Taekwondo Black Belt, (Kukkiwon) a former National Champion in both Nigeria and North America, as well as an All Africa Games Gold Medalist and Best Player Award Winner. Currently the President and Founder of The Master Pius Martial Arts Club, Atlanta Georgia. A certified Fitness Instructor and trained nutritionist, GM Pius is a master of a number of martial arts disciplines ranging from Hapkido to Kempo.
Master Blessing Nwakanma, is a licensed 5th Dan black belt holder in the Korean martial art of Taekwondo. She has over 12 years experience in martial arts and personal fitness training. She is a National and West African Champion, a Commonwealth Silver and Bronze medallist and an Atlanta Opens Gold Medallist.
Master Uzoma Onwuchekwa, is a 5th Dan Black belt in Taekwondo (NTBBC), 2nd Dan Kukkiwon, 7th Dan Jidokwan and holds an orange belt in ShanShui, alongside working knowledge of Aikido. A practicing martial artist for over 36 years. In 2011 he was inducted into by the World Taekwondo Hall of Fame, for exemplary qualities in leadership, in Kukkiwon Seoul, South Korea. Uzoma, is Vice Chairman Lagos State Taekwondo Association, Part owner and instructor at Lekki Taekwondo & Kickboxing Academy and current National President of The Nigerian Taekwondo Black Belt College.
AIKPA Gnaba Aime, obtained his first Dan Black Belt in 1971. He started the first Taekwondo Jidokwan club in Nigeria in 1974 and graded the first set of Taekwondo Black belts 1st Degree in late 1977. In 1979, he became the first and only African to operate and run a Taekwondo club in Italy. Currently he owns four Clubs in Italy Though a holder of a Taekwondo 10th Degree Black Belt (Founder’s Rank) of the Nigeria Taekwondo Black Belt College he is also a specialist in Aikido and Tangsudo
